Young’s work showcases youthful snapshots of life, via a color pallet of vivid hues to soft pastels. His outlook on life and its expression are what drew us to have him complete a piece for 2020. Salut’s mural embodies feelings of isolation and being overexposed to depressing news. ‘Hold me, it’s been crazy out there’ is an emotion we have felt continuously throughout the year, and it was Young’s mission to shine a light on these feelings by creating something cheerful and vibrant without being tone-deaf.
